Door sealing strip is mainly used for door fixing, dust-proof and sealing.
It is mainly made of EPDM rubber with good elasticity and compression resistance, aging resistance, ozone, chemical action, wide use temperature range (-40 ~120 ~C), foaming and dense compound. It contains unique metal fixture and tongue-shaped buckle, which is durable and easy to install. Mainly used in door, door frame, side window, front and rear windshield, engine cover and luggage box cover, play the role of waterproof, dust-proof, sound insulation, temperature insulation, shock absorption, decoration and so on.
The door sealing system mainly aims at two areas, one is the door area sealing, which mainly relies on a ring of inner door sealing strip installed on the flanging side of the side door or a ring of outer door sealing strip installed on the door to seal the whole door. Some models have two-ring seals, some only use one-ring seals. Different models choose which sealing strategy to use according to performance requirements or cost objectives. Another area that needs to be sealed on the door is the door and window area, which is mainly sealed by the glass guide groove seals on the window frame and two windowsill seals on the inside and outside. They also play the role of making the door and window glass rise and fall smoothly. Usually, the glass guide groove seals are the most demanding and the most complex structure in the vehicle sealing system.
